OUR FOUNDATION FLAGSHIP PROGRAM
2026 Empowering Young Women Annual Conference
Empowering Young Women Annual Conference is designed with one purpose in mind — to inspire, support, and equip young women as they step into the next stages of their academic and personal lives. Each year, this full-day, all-female event brings together one-hundred to one-hundred-fifty young women, ages 12 to 21, along with their parents, guardians, or chaperones, creating an environment where families and the community unite around their growth.
Throughout the day, attendees participate in a series of workshops, keynote sessions, and conversations led by respected Career Panelists with representation from all cultures welcomed. These speakers and leaders share real-world insight, personal stories, and guidance that help the young women build confidence, understand their potential, and envision new possibilities for their future.
The experience is both enriching and empowering — a blend of learning, mentorship, cultural pride, and personal development. Breakfast and lunch are provided, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the event concludes with the presentation of two $1,000 scholarships awarded to outstanding young women. With stronger sponsor participation, the foundation hopes to expand the number of scholarships and increase the awards offered in future events, further strengthening the opportunities available to young women in Riverside County and neighboring communities.
In 2015, the organization proudly adopted a new name — the Adrian Dell & Carmen Roberts Foundation — honoring two individuals whose leadership and service inspired decades of community progress. Since then, the foundation has continued adding meaningful programs and events: Jazz on the Rooftop in 2018, the inaugural ADCR Golf Tournament in 2021, and multiple scholarship initiatives, including the first foundation-funded scholarship awarded in 2024.

OUR FOUNDATION ANCHOR PROGRAM
Annual Backpack Giveaway
Each year, since 2001, the ADCR Foundation holds a Backpack Giveaway Event for all students K-12. The backpacks are filled with essential school supplies to help them start their new school year. Members of the community come together to volunteer their time, helping to organize, assemble, and distribute the backpacks, creating a positive, uplifting experience for students and families.
